Built by the Williams-Ellis family, the pottery and the village of Portmeirion celebrated the diamond wedding anniversary of pottery founders, Susan and Euan, as well as Susan's sister Charlotte and her husband Lindsey, who also celebrated their diamond anniversary.
All the Williams-Ellis family congregated, including Robin Llywelyn and his wife Sian who run Portmeirion Village and Anwyl Cooper-Willis, who has just retired as Retail Director at the pottery, and her daughters.
