Portmeirion support any hourly paid worker who wishes to gain a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in their job role. This scheme has proved very popular over the years and has led some of our employees to become qualified assessors and internal verifiers, so that more of the qualification can be done in house using our own people.
Congratulations to Gaynor Lownds, Sue Burgess and Jane Timmis, who have all passed their A1 assessors qualifications and to Gina Archilletti, who has passed her NVQ Level 2 in Ceramics and were presented with their certificates by Ray Joynson in August.
