Portmeirion's Collaboration with Rob Scotton

One of the UK's leading commercial illustrators, Rob Scotton has chosen to work with Portmeirion on a stunning collection of ceramic, glassware and melamine products featuring his unique artwork.

Transferring his fantastical two dimensional characters into three dimensions for the first time, fans of Rob Scotton's graphic illustrations will be the first to support this new product departure for one of the UK's favourite celebration card designers.

Having graduated in illustration in 1983, Rob Scotton has made card design his very own through his original work for Kingsley Cards Limited and more recently his card consultancy for Cardmasters Limited. His wonderful dreamy characters and landscapes combine childhood innocence with a humorous and often wry look at life.

Utilising cutting edge computer programmes, Rob Scotton is very much as the forefront of his craft. As well as working on concept and character development for a series of animation projects, Rob will continue to break new boundaries, producing original designs for Portmeirion that will delight, enchant and amuse our customers.
